Capital District Physicians' Health Plan (CDPHP) is a NYSHIP-participating HMO available to New York State employees in the Capital Region — primarily Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga counties, with some coverage extending to surrounding areas. CDPHP is a regional nonprofit health plan with deep roots in the Capital District government employee community.

If you work for a state agency in the Capital Region and selected CDPHP as your NYSHIP plan, your behavioral health benefits — including addiction treatment — are administered through CDPHP's behavioral health program.
